How the information is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support agreed services, administer payments and records, protect the website, meet legal obligations and improve WordPresent services. The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, legitimate business interests and legal obligations. Consent is used where it is specifically required.
Who information may be shared with
WordPresent does not sell personal information. Information may be handled by carefully selected providers used for hosting, email, forms, backups, analytics, security, accounting and other essential business services. It may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. Providers should receive only the information needed for their role.
International processing and security
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, WordPresent will rely on an appropriate safeguard recognised by UK data-protection law. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Retention
Enquiry information is kept only as long as it remains useful for the enquiry and reasonable follow-up. Client, contractual and financial records may be retained for longer where needed to provide support, resolve disputes or meet tax and legal obligations.

Optional analytics or marketing cookies should only be set where an appropriate consent choice has been provided. You can also restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings, although parts of the site may then work differently.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and to request portability or withdraw consent. Contact WordPresent to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
